“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

Woodstock (New Brunswick) Wesleyan Church

One of the joys of directing a summer camp in Maine's northernmost county six weeks every year is the opportunities to connect with northern churches, and even an occasional trip north of the border.  On Sunday of last week, I was able to do just that, as I had a show at the Woodstock, New Brunswick Wesleyan Church.

I went alone, as Sue stayed back at camp to supervise some underage staff we had stay over; a rarity.  It's a beautiful drive and an easy border crossing at the rural Bridgewater Crossing, and I was at the church early.  This made set up very stress free, which is great, especially since I was alone that morning.

WWC is a fairly large congregation for such a rural area, and it was a blast performing for them.  They are also a multi-generational church, and I tried to have something in the show for everyone.  While I have several new routines brewing right now, I think the only new routine I planned was the spirit slate illusion.  However, I noticed it wasn't properly set up, so I skipped it and stuck to 'standards'.  I also read a selection from my new book, "Between Eden and Eternity".

When the show was over, and I was packing up to return to Maine, a gentleman came up to me and gave me a $100 bill (US currency, even) and told me it was specifically for a missionary trip we are hoping to do in the next year or two to Uganda, Africa.  Since the regular offerings from our summer shows go to supplement our camp salary (neither of our teaching jobs pay during the months of July and August) this gift earmarked for Uganda was greatly appreciated.

And I sold a copy of my second book.  Again, I have written an international seller; not best seller by any means, but an international seller nonetheless.
