“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

I have a new routine about world hunger.  I need to research data so my 'patter' is accurate as I perform it, but basically it addresses the discrepancy between the haves and the have-nots in the world.  After preliminary research, I have found that:

Over half the people in sub-saharan Africa live on $1.25 per day.  Over 40% of the population of southern Asia also live on $1.25 or less.  1,372,000,000 people in the world (between 1/6 and 1/5 of the world) live on a dollar a day or less.  (www.worldhunger.org

I make no apologies for talking about this issue in an 'evangelistic' program.  Some see social justice as a means to evangelize.  Some see it as unrelated to evangelization.  In truth, it is neither a means to an evangelistic end nor irrelevant to evangelism.  Social justice and evangelism are inseparable.  They are intertwined ways of sharing Jesus' love with a world that is broken and lost in spirit and body.
