“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

My God Shall Supply All My Needs

A month ago I wrote a blog about simple but important ways God has faithfully provided for our needs as we present His Word through our juggling and illusion program around the northeast.  Here's another example;

In the late 1980's, after performing at an overnight youth retreat in Augusta, a teen approached us and gave us a copy of a tape by a Catholic music minister named Tom Franzac.  He was a pretty obscure, but had done a tour, apparently, and the girl assured us he was, "Like, totally awesome."  She was right.  his music was 80's synthesizer rock mixed with blue collar Seger-esque rock.

Probably 10 years later I had the inspiration to do a routine to a song of his entitled 'Stuff', which is about materialism.  It quickly became one of my most performed juggling routines, and was quite popular.  all this time, I was still using a bootlegged copy of a cassette tape the teenager had given us.

Then, perhaps in the early 2000's, the tape fell out of my van into our snowy driveway one night, and I did not find it for a couple days.  When I did, it was of much poorer quality.  I knew I needed to replace it, but, it's not like Tom Franzac CD's are as commonplace as, say Justin Bieber albums.

That weekend, while in Biddeford, Maine, I was in the Goodwill store, and there, among the used tapes was a Tom Franzac album.  It was not the same album I had been given, but it contained the cut 'Stuff'.  My friend Alan put it on disc for us, and I have continued to performed this routine ever since.
