“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

mineral Springs Estates

On Saturday, my wife, Sue and I headed over the state line to Mineral Springs Estates in North Conway, New Hampshire.  we dropped our youngest daughter, Rose, at the dance studio (her second home) and had just enough time to get to our show, perform and retur to Maine to pick her up.  mineral Springs is an elegant facility for senior citizens, but it is not a nursing home.  From the tree lined driveway, to the grand staircase in the foyer, to the beautiful indoor courtyard where we performed, this facility is first class.  And the nice, high ceilings in the courtyard are sure nice for a juggler.

the show was pretty unremarkable except for a couple of things.  First of all, Sie sat with a couple in the audience who had a service dog.  At first I thought the man was blind, but the dog was actually trained to pick up dropped items.  Well, that made juggling interesting.  I didn't drop much, but I did drop, and the dog was eager to service.  His master made sure the dog stayed off of the stage area, so I didn't have any 'stolen' props, but poor Fido seemed very confused at times.

then after the show, I one with a 100 year old lady from Bridgton, Maine.  This is the town we have lived in for 27 years.  She was sharp as a tack, and fascinating to talk to.  She even told me which house she was born in: second on the right after the monument.  I know exactly which house she was describing.

It was a nice morning, and a nice way for Sue and me to spend a few hours together between carpooling to the dance studio.
