“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

LOL @ Greater Portland Christian School

LOL had it's fourth show of the school year at Greater Portland Christian School on Wednesday.  This is a much larger school than Windham Christian, our home school, and their entire student body, grades K through 12, were all present for the show.  Like our show two days prior, the 12 - 14 year olds that make up LOL were at the top of their form.  GPCS students and teachers all loved the show, and there was lots of laughs.  Erik did a superb routine with two diabolos, Alex, as always was hysterical in the role of the 'good' son in 'The Prodigal Juggler', and Nick was an effective Jesus in "Me".

For the second time, we performed "Psalm 150' a razzle-dazzle rouitne of juggling, dancing and tumbling.  It was almost perfect, except that there was a juggling beanbag that somehow had gotten stuck in Noah's trumpet!  We also performed 'Jesus Loves the Little Children' for the first time (See script on a previous blog.)  This was the routine that we closed with, and I followed it up with some thoughts - directed at the older students - about the need to be aware of and involved in fixing the problems that children around the world face: AIDS orphans in Africa, sex slavery in Asia, poverty in Latin America, lonliness in our own neighborhoods.  The high schoolers especially were clearly taking it all in.

After two very successful ministry outings in a week, my students are at the point where they are seeing how powerful what we do can be, and I hope and believe that they will not settle for mediocrity in a performance again.  They have become performers, not just kids who perform.
