Throughout this current corna virus pandemic, the local rehab facility has had me doing an outdoor show once a month.  Bella Point isn't a nursing home, but rather a rehab facility.  The residents remember me, and remember that my daughter, Rose, worked there throughout this crazy summer of 2020.  This past weekend was warm enough to do one last indoor show before Maine turns into a blustery winter wonderland.

In fact, the thermometer brushed up against 70 degrees during the show, and that made for perfect conditions for this gig. Of course I took advantage of being outdoors by juggling fire torches and fire devil sticks. I also did a brand new changing a green silk into a red silk.

But the highlight of the day came immediately after the show ended.  As I began to pick up props, and the residents were still on the patio, Rose called me.  While it was nice to hear from her, it was especially fun to announce to the residents that it was Rose on the phone, and hear them all shout out their hellos back to her.

I hope that there will be opportunities to visit through this upcoming winter, but safety comes first, especially during this time of pandemic.
