“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

Little Falls Baptist

We've been able to keep up a somewhat normal performing schedule in spite of the pandemic we are in, but it has not been typical by any means.  During the summer, our shows were almost entirely outdoors.  Then, in the fall and winter, they've been mostly Sunday morning 'specials' at our home church, chapels at the school where I teach (Which has miraculously stayed open) and virtual Zoom shows.  But this morning I had the opportunity to do a full service at a local Baptist church in Gorham, Maine.  Being a small congregation, social distancing and mask wearing was easy to pull off, and it was great to be doing it again.

Little Falls Baptist has been a very supportive church for many years, helping us both get to Uganda in 2018 and helping us pay to dig a well for some friends in Uganda after our return.  Additionally, some long time friends attend there, and a former student (and diabolo master) Sam goes there with his family.  Sam is now a senior in high school, and it was great catching up with him.

As for the show, I thought it went very well. I spent a good bit of time during the pandemic (so far) reworking routines that have been shelved, or used sparingly, and I brought several back this morning: Mary and Marty, Salt and Light, Standing on the Promises of God, The Writing on the Wall, and the herring bone balance.  I interspersed a couple standards as well: When the Saints Go Marching In, and He Must Increase.  God tied the whole morning together with the theme of "Fear Not".  I believe this is a timely message for the American church, where I am sensing a lot of anxiety right now. We all need to be reminded that God is still on the throne.
