“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

LOL at So. Paris,ME Veterans' Home

LOL, my student juggler troupe, had a show in a new venue this week: a VA home in South Paris, Maine.  It wasn't exactly a hospital, but it wasn't a nursing home, either.  The vets who were there were alert, and most of them were ambulatory.  Regardless of why they were in the facility, it was a blessing to spend the morning with them. My students were respectful as they visited, prayed, and gave out cards to the veterans thanking them for their service to our country.  (Especially fitting since this is Veterans'Day week).  One patient shared his story with us, and it had a powerful impact.  He had been in hospice care for a year and a half-a placement that usually means one has less than six months to live.  He is now 86 and healthy. He also shared with us a prayer he found in his wife's Bible after she died, and how this prayer led him to faith in Jesus.  This testimony was confirmed by staff there.

As for the show, it may have been the best of this school year.  Lillia performed battle axes for the first time ever, and Grace juggled machetes on Lillia's shoulders flawlessly.  The six jugglers in "Beautiful, Scandalous Night" were perfect, and again Jordan sang the song beautifully.  Tanner was very funny performing the lotta bowl, and Abbie performed her part in "I Want to Know What Love Is" for the first time, and she was excellent.

After the show and visitation, our contact person (also a mom of one of the students) treated us all to pizza, chips, and brownies before we headed back to school, full and content with a job well done.
