“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

One of my challenges during this covid-19 pandemic has been creating opportunities for my 7th and 8th grade jugglers to perform. It's one thing for me to go places alone - although this has been happening considerably less than past years - but it's another to bring 10 kids into a venue to perform.  Yesterday, with the help of a local church, LOL was able to do their second show of this school year.  Sort of.

Actually, the pastor filmed our show in her sanctuary to show to her congregation on youtube Sunday morning.  Nevertheless, the kids had the experience of going somewhere, setting up and doing what they've been rehearsing this semester. It also allows us to watch ourselves this week to give the kids direct feedback on their performance.

Nathan did an excellent job filling in for Zech, who was unable to be there, in "I Want to Know What Love Is".  Maddie, as always, gave us a steady performance with a couple illusions and her new found juggling skills.  Josh did the Jonah and the whale routine in Zech's absence with the expected humor and energy he brings to everything he does.

For me, the favorite parts were things that maybe the kids weren't even picking up on.  Several times some of the kids had to 'think on their feet'. Maddie, Natasha and Josh all had to maneuver through a couple of curveballs that came their way during the gig, and they all handled them with maturity and good judgement.  The other part I enjoyed was, when some of the parents were a little late picking up their kids we had some time to hang out in the churchyard.  There wasn't the usual teacher-student roles in place, we were just having fun talking and joking.

Well done, LOL.
