“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

Hilltop Baptist Church

10 years ago I was on staff at Ossipee Valley Christian School, which was housed in Hill Top Baptist Church in Cornish, Maine. Since working there, the church has turned the building over to the school, and has moved across the small Maine town of Cornish; atop another hill. So when I got a call from the former pastor's daughter about doing a Friday night "kids'club", she was inviting me to return to a place I'd never been before.

The new location is in the old Cornish Elementary School, which means it comes with plenty of Sunday school space, a cafeteria for a fellowship hall, and even a full playground.

The retired pastor's daughter, Amy, was not the only familiar face in the audience. The mom of two other former students was helping, as was a teacher from OVCS, and a former student, Kristen, who was accompanying two of her sons. Kristen married her middle school sweetheart, Stephen (arguably the most natural juggler I ever taught) who is now a state trooper. Who knew 15 years ago when these two noticed each other that they would marry, have three kids- so far- and be serving together in the church they married in! Very cool.

To be honest, I don't remember details about my show that night, except that it fell into the category of "above average". But it was fun seeing some people who I haven't seen in a while.
