“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

Elementary Chapel

The LOL juggling troupe, my middle school class, did a four day ministry trip to the Burlington, Vermont area recently, and we had the privilege of sharing some of our stories with the elementary students at Windham Christian Academy last week.  While a different student shared about each of our six shows from that tour, including power point pictures from Vermont, there was, as would be expected, more than just stories during this 45 minute chapel service.

it began with singing led by Elaina, JK and Abby. in truth, though, the whole middle school led, as the "big kids" circulated among the younger ones and had them on their feet singing and dancing.  the elementary principal said she wished she had us leading singing every chapel service.  The coolest part was how natural it was for my students to interact with the younger kids in this way.

in among the reports from our trip, there were, of course, juggling routines.  Rachel and Grace passed clubs around Our 3rd/4th grade teacher, who also happens to be Rachel's mom.  I did a spinning plate routine with four volunteers that taught about the need for everyone in ministry to do their part with excellence. Then the kids performed their machete medley, including three kids who had only performed machetes once before.  It was also, the first gig with brand new knives from Three Finger Juggling Company.  The routine ended with JK and Sebastien passing knives around the above mentioned principal!  Then Sebastien debuted our newest prop as he juggled three executioner axes!

As expected, many elementary kids were talking about how much they looked forward to being in middle school.
