“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

Woodstock Wesleyan Church

On the last weekend of July, I had a show in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada.  We were still at our summer home in northern Maine, finishing six weeks of camp ministry, so the border was less than a half hour drive.  My wife, Sue, and our daughter, Rose, did not join me on this trip because Rose was asked to speak in a different church about a two week ministry trip to Boston she had just completed.  Sue agreed to get Rose to the Mapleton, Maine Baptist church that morning, and I head across the border.

Woodstock Wesleyan is a regular part of our yearly schedule; sometimes they have us for a kids' program, sometimes for the main service, and sometimes for both.  This year I presented in the main service, which is really how our show works best.  I joked with the audience about making sure I left my doves south of the border, and produced a stuffed animal duck instead of live doves.  Several years ago, we brought a live dove into Canada for our show at Woodstock, and it led into a bit of an international incident.  (See blog entitled "He's an American Bird")

I focused the show on various portions of the Sermon on the Mount, which is where I've focused almost all my study time this summer, and I trust I left them with somethings to think about.  I also read an excerpt from my book, "A Piece of Bosco".  After the service, I sold two copies, making my book an international seller!  Then it was back to the states to start our final week of camp ministry.
