“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

Grandparents'Day, 2017

Each year in recent years the school where I teach, Windham Christian Academy, hosts a special day for the grandparents and other senior friends of the student body.  Grandparents'Day, 2017 was a couple of weeks ago, and it was once again a successful and pleasant  day.  After the guests all arrived and connected with their grandchildren, LOL -my student juggling team- did an abridged show.  They did exceptionally well, the biggest problem was my incessant coughing as it was my first day back after several consecutive sick days.  The biggest blessing to me was that the team had decided to do the show even if I was out sick again.  While it might have had a few bumps doing the show without me, but I know they could have done it.  However, that didn't need to happen this time.

One of the highlights of the GPD show was Brianna and Rachel doing their eighth grade 'solo'.  Technically, of course, it's not a solo when two kids do it together, but they really wanted to do something with each other.  It was a cute partner juggling routine they choreographed together.  It was funny, touching and meaningful.

After the juggling, the fifth and sixth grade puppet ministry went on.  They have come a long way under the direction of Pastor Lynn Briggs.  It was fun being the opening act for these younger students.  Their show was about Jesus washing the disciples feet, performed appropriately on Maundy Thursday.

After the shows, there were carnival games and a photo booth for,the students and their guests, then visits to the classrooms.  I'm glad I was back from my sick days to enjoy it.
