“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

LOL Fund Raiser at Wal Mart

Today Sue, Rose and I spent four hours out in front of the Windham Wal Mart with 14 middle schoolers and several adult volunteers.  We juggled and held a bake sale to raise money for the LOL juggling team's ministr trip to Burlington, Vermont next month.  It was a windy, cold day, which made juggling a challenge, but the kids and I were all able to perform a variety of props, including fire props.  It's always a treat to juggle fire because so few in door venues allow for fire routines any more.

Being the day before Easter, we had a variety of Easter themed cakes and other goodies that people snatched up quickly.  A couple of former co workers from the last school where I taught came by, which was a special treat, too.

My teaching assistant, Ashley Mills, did a wonderful job organizing the event.  She's such an outstanding co worker.  We raised well over $300 toward our trip, and, in fact, we may have hit $400.  The final totals still aren't in yet.

On the comical side, Noah split his pants almost completely in half- no exaggeration-  when they got caught in the mechanism of his pogo stick.  He briefly fixed them with masking tape, but his grandmother was there, and she quickly bought him a new pair... from Wal Mart, of course!  Then, Seth's diabolo rolled out into the parking lot and got run over; Twice.  He bent it back into shape, and he claims it works as well as ever.

We are close to our goal of $1200 for our trip in May, and this was definitely a fun way to raise a portion of it.
