For the second Saturday in a row, my middle school jugglers, LOL, did open air juggling and a bake sale in front of our local Wal Mart yesterday.  The money we raise is going toward a whole class trip to Vermont where we will be doing a variety of shows at the end of May.

This week was entirely different from last week when we did the same thing.  Last week was the day before Easter, so we sold a lot of baked goods and made close to $500.  This week we had to give away a lot of unsold items at the end, and we made less than $100.  Last week we had all but two one of the team available to participate; This week we only had eight of our usual 15, as it is the start of school vacation week.  The weather yesterday was warm while a week ago it was chilly and windy.

All that aside, though, yesterday was a great time.  We juggled til our arms almost fell off, which right there makes it a great day, we laughed a lot, talked to a lot of people, and a few students from our school who are not in LOL came to help, too.  A bad day of street juggling is still better than a good day in the classroom!
