“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

SCJ Ministry Milestones

1)       1976: Seeing Alan Alda do a very simple three fruit cascade on an episode of MASH inspired me, as a 14 year old, to try to juggle three waffle balls I had not put away earlier in the day.  I was hooked.

2)      1976:  When visiting my brother at the Coast Guard Academy, we saw a team of jugglers on campus.  In hind sight, they were just OK, but I was inspired to work on performing rather than just practicing for myself.

3)      1977:  My first performance in a high school talent show.  I was so scared I wanted to drop out of the show.  I came in second place.

4)  1984:  Five week tour with the Wonderland Circus Revue.

5)      1985:  The idea of a juggling ministry takes root.  Along with my pastor’s son, Dwayne, we began creating routines and performing Gospel routines.

6)      1986:  A chance meeting with a sister in Christ reminded us that we have to knock for doors to be opened.  We began actively promoting our ministry, and we’ve had gigs every month since.

7)      1991:  We received the ‘Vision New England’ award from the Evangelical Association of New England for outstanding evangelistic ministry.  The award was presented by Joni Eareckson-Tada.

8)      1994:  My first foreign missions trip to the Dominican Republic.

9)      1995:  Took job as a Christian school teacher.  I began training my students in juggling and magic, thus developing a sister ministry: VMG.  This has evolved into LOL.

10)      1996:  We trained the Bridgton Alliance youth group in juggling and skits in order to bring them on a missions trip to Juarez, Mexico.

11)   1999:  Share several evangelistic outreaches with legendary Boston Red Sox player Bernie Carbo.

12)   2004:  Our first of two trips to Ecuador.

13)   2006:  Return trip to Ecuador.

14)   2006:  Begin planning mission trips for teams from Bridgton Alliance Church.  These include trips to rural Kentucky twice, and an outreach at the Revere, MA beach.

15)   2010:  Our first outreach on an Indian reservation in Crow Agency, Montana.
