Saturday night, I juggled in the annual Bridgton estival of Lights parade.  With both older girls away at college and Rose riding on the float for her dance school, it was the first time I've done this parade alone.  In past years, I've either had one or more of my girls and / or my niece Leona.

Since I was walking alone, I didn't have anyone to carry additional props for me.  I simply used cigar boxes the whole way.  This was a short sighted decision, as boxes are very tiring on the legs after a while.  This, combined with being the only entry in the parade who walked the whole way, and I was exhausted when it was over!

At the judges stand, I set the boxes down and pulled a couple tricks out of my pocket.  First, I did the linking ropes trick, then a mouth coil.  Every year I juggle for the judges, but this time I wanted to do something different.

It's a lot of fun doing a community event like this.  Everyone was in a great mood, and the audience along the sides of the road were very enthusiastic.
