“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

Year End Report of Our Ministry

Dear Pastor, governing board and church body,

2011 was a full, productive year for the Supreme Court Jesters and the LOL Vaudeville Show.  The year began with a very generous gift from the LaFrenniere’s.  They donate a year of free web site set up and maintenance provided by Bill Severance.  Not only is this a way for prospective venues to check out who we are, but it gives us the opportunity to report back on our various shows and write some devotional essays as well.  You can find us at: <supremecourtjesters.org >

With Naomi graduating out of the ministry, Rose has been given more roles in the show.  She has risen to the challenge well, as she narrates, acts, and performs illusions in several routines.  Besides making these changes to our show, we have created  a variety of new routines covering topics including:  Zacchaeus,  Ecclesiastes, “Unless the Lord builds the house those who build it labor in vain”, the passage from the sermon on the mount regarding worry, Ezekiel’s vision of the valley of dry bones, and several others.

We did our regular round of performances, ranging from two to 15 shows per month.  Several new venues opened to us, including several new churches in Aroostook County.  For the first time while spending our summers there, we worked in churches other than Baptist.

Again this year, in August we were part of ‘Reach the Beach’ in Revere, Massachusetts.  We were joined by Rachel Ruel, and spent the time doing open air shows and witnessing to the beach goers.  BAWT joined us there at the end of the week.  (See [pictures of this trip on our web site)

For the first time in three school years, I brought my Middle School juggling team, LOL, on a four day ministry trip. (See pictures of this trip on our web site)   We went to Willimantic, CT in May, and the students did eight shows.  Venues included: street fairs, churches, Christian schools, nursing homes, and campgrounds.  Several of the team were very inspired by the experience, and some have already done additional mission trips since then.   There’s nothing like seeing young people get the vision of reaching out to others.

Finally, I am pleased to report many decisions for Christ this past year.  I do not keep count of decisions because doing so fuels my ego too much, and, in truth, I’m sure there’s people responding who aren’t sincerely accepting Christ, and those who don’t outwardly respond who are.  Nonetheless, I assure you that God reached many people in 2011.

Respectfully submitted,

Richard Hagerstrom
