“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

grandparents' Day at WCA

Every year for several years now, the school where I teach holds an annual grandparents' day.  Organized by a student led committee, it is a chance to honor grandparents and senior citizen friends of the student body.  It's also a chance to show off our school to these wonderful folks and have a lot of fun in the process.

This year featured grandparents versus kids games, make your own ice cream sundaes, and, in keeping with recent tradition, an LOL juggling show.  My 22 middle school students did 35 minutes of skits, juggling and magic, and it was another outstanding show.  Emily juggled machetes in front of an audience for the first time ever, and Caleb did it for his second time.  Veronica did her go go dancing during the machete routine going full out, even though she was not feeling well.  she had actually been asleep in the nurses office minutes before the show began.

Another first occurred when Veronica did the dove production illusion.  We have had a new dove hatch in early March, and we used this little guy for the first time that day.

Its amazing how far the students have come this school year; they are the best group of jugglers I have taught in many years, and they keep doing one tremendous performance after another.  this show was true inter-generational fun.
